Max Medical Middle East

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new Radiation Therapy Consulting branch in the Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC).PDF
We participated in the Arab Health in Dubai.
We participated in our 5th straight ASTRO.

Max Medical Middle East will use over a decade of accumulated know-how, along with the advanced technology developed in Japan, to support the opening and management of medical facilities in the region.

Providing a range of solutions for the challenges encountered in the health care industry around the world, we will make every effort to provide for the well-being of patients and medical professionals.

Even with the best technology, it is difficult to succeed without the right people with the right skills.

We will ensure that your staff receive necessary training in order to be up-to-date with the latest treatment methods.

We will do this by:
organizing seminars and lectures in your facility from highly skilled doctors from Japan and around the world.
providing opportunities for your staff to visit and observe facilities in Japan, in order to get a better understanding and learn new skills.

When you first start your facility it can be a challenge knowing what to charge for different services and procedures. We will walk you through setting up a complete invoicing system so you can avoid any problems when you start out.

Having the latest, and most appropriate, devices is essential for being competitive and providing patients with the best care possible. We will discuss with you to clarify your goals,
and recommend the devices that can best help you succeed.

Japan has a reputation for being a leader in radiation therapy,
and we can provide you with the same tools necessary to reach those levels.

It is important to ensure your facility is properly designed for your needs today,
and in the future.

We will make sure you meet the requirements in terms of shielding and dimensions,
while maintaining a comfortable environment for both patients and staff.

Medical Tourism

Through the high-level training, advanced devices that we will introduce,
and the facility development that we offer, we can assist in raising the overall level of radiation therapy in the Middle East.

This will help make Dubai a one-stop destination for people seeking cancer treatment.

There are many devices used in the treatment of cancer.
Researching and choosing from all of them can be time-consuming and overwhelming.

We will work with you to make sure you understand all the technologies available that will meet your goals and your budget.

A linear accelerator (LINAC) is the device
commonly used to treat patients with cancer. It delivers high-energy x-rays to all areas of the body. The x-ray beams can be designed to spare as much healthy tissue as possible.

It is used in different techniques, such as intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT),
image guided radiation therapy (IGRT), and stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT).

Proton therapy

In proton therapy a beam of protons is targeted at the tumor. Due to protons relatively large mass, the beam stays focused on the tumor shape, with little side scatter.

This means that the healthy tissue around the tumor receives a low radiation dose,
resulting in fewer side-effects. Protons range and dose can also be controlled accurately.
This allows the highest amount of radiation to be deposited in the tumor, not before or after. This is known as the Bragg Peak.

Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) is not a new therapy, but it is currently undergoing testing in Japan for a new application that can be used within hospitals.
It is a highly selective type of radiation therapy that can target the tumor at the cellular level without causing radiation damage to the adjacent normal cells and tissues.
It is a two-step process. Firstly, the patient is injected with a tumor localizing drug containing a non-radioactive isotope called boron. Secondly, the patient is irradiated with epithermal neutrons.

The neutrons pass harmlessly through the patients body. However, when the neutrons contact the boron in the tumor, a nuclear reaction occurs at a cellular level.
The tumor is destroyed cell by cell, without damaging adjacent healthy tissue.

The Air-Bag System

The Air-Bag System

The "Air-Bag System" (ABS) is a simple support system for stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) and intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT).

The ABS has a wide variety of features, requires very few instructions and no respiratory strategy teaching,
nor does it need any interruption for simulation or irradiation and helps the non-invasive treatment
for the patient.

Conveniently located in Dubai Healthcare City, this newly established branch will make it easier for us to work with our partners in the Middle East.
